The ideal candidate will undertake excellent research aligned with the School’s primary research themes: Understanding health, Innovation in health and/or Improving health service delivery.The successful candidate will join the Mother, Infant and Child Health research group, a vibrant, multi-disciplinary team with interests spanning quality of maternity care, infant feeding, perinatal mental health and adverse childhood experiences. We are interested in individuals with expertise in (but not limited to) quality of maternity care, perinatal mental health, global maternal and infant health, and marginalised populations.The successful applicant will strengthen our academic leadership, developing and sustaining research programmes within the School, and supporting teams to flourish.Candidates will have an international reputation for, and track record of, excellent and impactful research, underpinned by substantial external grant funding as Principal Investigator, and evidence of world-leading (REF 4*) publications.The post includes teaching and research contributions, dependent on existing grant funding and the needs of the School.   • Collaborative research including leading large funding proposals, undertaking research and producing high quality publications
  • Attracting and supervising postgraduate students
