Real Estate Solicitor (property, energy and infrastructure)- Manchester – NQ-3 PQE A leading international firm is seeking a Real Estate lawyer to join its highly regarded Manchester team. This is an innovative firm with a forward thinking approach offering excellent training, support and overall financial package. Agile working is promoted and encouraged. The Real Estate Solicitor Role: · One of the largest teams of property lawyers specialising in major energy and infrastructure sector work. · Impressive client base – including public sector bodies, investors, developers, funders and big six utility companies. · Acting for clients on large and nationally significant energy and infrastructure transactions. · The work is a broad range of energy and infrastructure property work including development and investment projects as well as more routine landlord and tenant/asset management matters. · You would act for high profile clients on large and nationally significant transactions including wind (on and offshore), solar, hydro and nuclear transactions in the energy sphere and road, rail and ports and other major infrastructure projects. ·· · Deal values can be significant and in excess of £billion. · You can also be involved in broader regeneration work (outside of the energy/infrastructure sector) if desired. · While being high profile and high value, this work is also cutting edge, recession proof and a hugely growing area. The firm acknowledges that there aren’t a huge amount of people with this experience and is therefore happy to consider those with broader real estate backgrounds who have a genuine interest in developing a specialism within energy.
