We are in search of a Recording Secretary to join our team in Markham, Ontario. In this role, you will be tasked with the responsibility of attending and recording minutes at board meetings, refining minutes post-meeting, and assisting with general administrative duties. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the industry.Responsibilities:

• Attend board meetings, which typically occur on the second Wednesday and fourth Wednesday of every month.
• Accurately record minutes of board meetings and refine minutes post-meeting for distribution.
• Assist with the coordination and execution of the Annual General Meeting and Board of Directors meetings.
• Provide exceptional customer service, handling both inbound and outbound calls.
• Maintain and update customer records in a timely and efficient manner.
• Process customer applications and inquiries accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) for data entry and email correspondence.
• Schedule appointments and manage the calendar of board meetings.
• Proficiency in answering inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy.
• Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry tasks.
• Skilled in managing email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and appropriate follow-ups.
• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis.
• Experience in using Microsoft Outlook for email management and scheduling.
• Skilled in creating and editing presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word for document creation and editing.
• Ability to schedule appointments effectively, balancing priorities and managing time efficiently.
