This Regional field-based position involves collaborating with healthcare professionals both in person and virtually, supporting clinical trials, and serving as a key liaison between the company and the medical community.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of various serious chronic diseases, exceptional communication skills, together with knowledge and experience of post marketing studies, clinical studies’ protocol review, drug safety and a passion for making a positive impact on patient lives.We are inviting applications from any location within the UK however, as we have sites in various locations within the UK you should be willing to travel. You must have a valid UK driving license.As this is a field-based position you will work from home office.Clinical Expertise: Provide in-depth clinical knowledge and expertise on serious chronic diseases to internal teams, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders with late phase clinical trial experience.Medical Education: Develop and deliver educational programs and materials for healthcare providers to enhance their understanding of serious chronic diseases and our therapeutic solutions.Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders in the field to gather insights, exchange knowledge, and foster collaboration.Clinical Trial Support: Contribute to the design and implementation of clinical trials, providing input on protocol development, investigator meetings, and study conduct.Market Access Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address market access challenges and ensure optimal patient access to our therapeutic interventions.QualificationsYou hold a PhD, or you are a Medical Doctor (GMC registered).You have a specialisation or have significant experience in one of the relevant therapeutic areas.Experience in a clinical or medical affairs role, preferably within serious chronic diseases and late phase studies.You have a strong understanding of clinical trial design and execution.Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders.About the departmentClinical, Medical and Regulatory department includes many passionate colleagues who lead the development of medicines, bringing those to patients and driving change in those disease areas that we work in, by focusing on improving outcomes and reducing health inequalities.Working at Novo NordiskNovo Nordisk is its people.
