Objectives of the position & scope of responsibilities
Development of Learning Environment and implement learning activities:
• Accompany HR teams in designing Learning & Development (L&D) action plans/strategy in link with the MSF Strategic plan and MSF’s objectives:
o Assess L&D challenges and opportunities in the Middle East (ME) region,
o Propose and adapt activities in response to the identified objectives,
o Set L&D priorities and follows appropriate L&D roadmaps to develop learning environment/culture in the region and reinforce Learning and development capacities,
• Act as L&D Advisors in the (ME) region, mutualize resources and support missions to create synergies and strengthen collaborative approach,
• Deliver workshops and co-facilitate trainings from the L&D transversal portfolio such as People management, WTMSF, DEI, Training of Trainers, Facilitation training, LNA Workshops,
• Coordinate and accompany the implementation of common L&D Frame with adapted Tools, processes, and guidelines,
• According to needs, create adapted tools and processes to develop L&D toolboxes,
• Ensure learners have access to learning space with adequate equipment in missions,
• Collaborate with Digital Learning team to advice on digital learning support and solutions,
• Sensitize managers on their:
o Roles and Responsibilities in the development of employees’ skills,
o Learning and Coaching skills required to reinforce Team capacity and to facilitate effective learning,
• Strengthen the L&D skills in the field to implement local learning activities.
• Analyze and accompany missions in the assessment of the Learning needs in the region,
• According to the learning needs and priorities, assist HR in charge of L&D in missions in identifying the most appropriate solution(s) and assessing local solutions,
• Advice missions and HUBs on transversal L&D opportunities and coordinate solutions for the region,
• Accompany missions on the annual planification of Learning events according to context, constraints and opportunities,
• Actively follow L&D deployment in the region and ensure the coordination of trainings with the L&D,
• Oversee learning activities calendars in missions and ensure mutualization of a smooth deployment,
• Accompany trainers and the deployment manager in implementing the learning solutions,
• Possible gap filling of L&D positions in the field.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in education or/and master’s degree in HR management
Experience:
- At least three years’ work experience as Field HR Coordinator or/and significative experience as PDM/L&D Manager in the field,
- Good expertise in HR operational analysis
- Significant experience in Project management
Languages:
– Arabic and English written and oral mandatory
Contract
– Full-time position 100%
– 12-month Jordanian contract, with the possibility of renewing
– Position based in Amman with regular visits to the field (40% of the time in the field)
– Ideal start date: 01 December 2024
– Gross monthly salary: JOD 2,553 (+ seniority in MSF) according to the internal regulations and salary grid of MSF in Amman
