Job Reference: 40772Registered NurseLocation: Newton Aycliffe, County DurhamPay Rates: Up to £49,920 per year (£20 per hour)Shift Patterns: 12 Hour ShiftsAs a nurse, you will play a crucial role in the home’s journey towards achieving an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This home currently cares for residents who require Nursing and Dementia care.Responsibilities:

• Ensure staff actively contribute to the smooth operation of the Service and foster a supportive environment for residents
• Monitor residents’ health and arrange GP/Professional visits as needed
• Develop and update residents’ Care Plans according to NMC standards and company guidelines
• Evaluate and continuously review the social and healthcare needs of new and current residents
• Perform regular resident checks as specified by the Home Manager
• Provide comprehensive handover reports to relevant staff at shift changes
• Strive to deliver the highest quality of direct nursing care

Qualification/experience:

• A minimum of 6 months post registration experience.
• Experience within a Nursing Home setting.
• Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices
• Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with NMC guidelines
• Undertake regular mandatory training
• As part of our onboarding check will we also need to see a copy of your Academic Qualification
