Primary Patient Population:

Pediatric through Adult
-
Immediate post-operative period
Primary skills utilized/learned:
-
Maintain patient airway
-
Assess hemodynamic stability and support
-
Monitor sedation, neurological, neuromuscular, and sensory motor status
-
Provision of adequate pain and comfort measures
-
Assess Wound/incision integrity
-
Overall patient assessment
Personnel RN will work with :
- OR/ ED/Inpatient RNs, Pre/Post Phase 2 staff, Anesthesia staff, Surgeons, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy
Number of OR Suites/Cases:
-
26 beds (Bay platform)
-
40-50 surgical cases daily

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).

Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio

Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:

Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
