UNIT SUMMARY:
4 Chest is a 37-bed acute surgical unit and is comprised of three distinct items: Thoracic Surgical procedure; Head and Neck Most cancers; and, our stage two Surgical Step-Down Unit. Because the Regional Centre for each Thoracic Surgical procedure and Head and Neck Most cancers, 4 Chest presents a depth and wealth of studying alternatives.We assist the care of sufferers with newly identified illness together with thoracic (e.g., lung, esophageal), head and neck most cancers, and reconstructive cosmetic surgery. Our 8-bed, Degree 2 Surgical Stepdown Unit offers look after critically unwell surgical sufferers together with those that have undergone Thoracic, Orthopedic, Urology, Gynecology, Vascular, GI and Common Surgical procedures.Collectively, 4 Chest offers exemplary care in a cohesive, collaborative and built-in method.
