The Team:
The candidate’s team will be comprised of Release/Solution Train Engineers of varying lengths of tenure and scopes of responsibility. The team collaborates via constant group communication, communities of practice, and interactive leadership meetings. The role will utilize technical skills to aid the team in defining execution plans and delivering value to the business with an emphasis on requirements solicitation and communication to Agile Release Trains (ARTs)/teams of teams.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Manage and optimize the flow of value through the team of teams
Drive the successful delivery of business, technical and team value via leadership and sound understanding of the team’s goals
Facilitate the translation of business requirements to deliverable functionality with demonstrable technical understanding
Improve the flow of value through value streams by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand
Work with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
Assist in tracking the execution of features and capabilities
Compensation/Benefits Information : (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $107,433 to $237,100. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What W e’re L ooking F or :
Basic Required Qualifications:
Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, DevOps, & Cloud architecture
Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent related experience
8 years of related experience, including some managerial experience
Ability to facilitate meetings, Release Planning readiness, and Release planning events & summarize Team Release Objectives into Program Release Objectives
Experience encouraging collaboration between teams and System Architects/Engineering
Help manage risks and dependencies within the team of teams, escalate and track impediments within the team of team
Provide input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks, guidance on routine to highly complex problems to subordinates
Improve the flow of value through value streams by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand
Understand and practice agility
Work with other teams as a lead; Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
Supports strategy development in partnership with the business to grow our business efficiently without sacrificing data quality, accuracy or timeliness of the data.
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action
Apply knowledge of technical risks, workflow/business process analysis and engineering/quality processes
Must be able to lead and negotiate within cycles of parallel activities (e.g. Business Analysis life cycle, project management life cycle, business process management and IT Engineering life cycle
Data delivery channels, including Feeds and the API
Has in-depth knowledge of business systems processes, models and design requirements as well as workflow design and strategies
Demonstrates operational knowledge of the business, IT systems and implementation processes

Escalates and tracks key team of teams’ metrics
Shield the team of teams from outside distractions and interferences
Help the team of teams to create high-value products
Work with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
Assist in tracking the execution of features and capabilities
Work with the Program Management Office on program execution and operational excellence
Establish and communicate the annual calendars for iterations and releases
Contribute to the achievement of Business Systems and IT objectives
Contribute to the achievement of team, APMO objectives and align efforts with the Product & Content organization.
Work on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors
Arrives at decisions in groups representing different business units, technologies, and operational approaches.
