They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Religious Studies Teacher to join our dynamic team.The Role: As a Religious Studies Teacher at our Lambeth-based school, you will:
- Teach Religious Studies: Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with innovative teaching methods.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the Religious Studies curriculum, ensuring it remains diverse, relevant, and exciting.
- Student Engagement: Encourage students to respect and explore the various religious traditions and beliefs, promoting a culture of understanding and inclusivity.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Humanities department and other colleagues to share best practices and promote continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the diverse needs of our students.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
- Support extracurricular activities and events that enrich the Religious Studies curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Religious Studies or a related field or experience as a Religious Studies Teacher
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
