REMODELLING OF UNDP OFFICE SPACE IN ABUJA, NIGERIA.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Nigeria seeks proposals from qualified interior and space design firms to provide space layout and furnishing services for the renovation of its existing office spaces in Abuja, Nigeria.
UNDP intends to transform its office space in Abuja, Nigeria, aiming to create a modern, collaborative work environment that nurtures innovation, productivity, and efficiency. The project entails a complete redesign of the space, incorporating flexible and comfortable working areas, state-of-the-art technology, and visitor-friendly facilities. The objective is to establish an inspiring green workspace that fosters creativity and teamwork, while championing sustainability and inclusivity. The renovations should create modern, open-planned, dynamic working spaces and a selection of private meeting spaces that facilitate collaborative and creative brainstorming, informal community spaces, and private working spaces for smaller meetings that don’t disrupt the broader working areas. Walled office spaces for the two Deputy Resident Representatives and the Resident Representatives would be required. The design should foster inspiration for staff and guests who visit the office. It should reflect the dynamism of Nigerian culture and creative scene while promoting the core values of UNDP, namely, environmental sustainability, innovation, diversity and partnerships. The space’s furnishings should be functional, comfortable and minimalistic, with a touch of Nigeria’s cultural richness amidst contemporary fittings.
