Research Administrator

About the role
In this role you will be responsible for providing administrative support for a research project that is being undertaken by academic colleagues based with the University of Leicester, University of Sheffield and Aston University. The project focus is on how Research Impact case studies are written and evaluated and make recommendations on how they can be improved for future Research Excellent Framework (REF) exercises. 
 
You will be responsible for data collection, downloading of sample cases and extracting relevant information. In addition, you will edit the information for inclusion in reports, ensuring deadlines are met and the smooth running of the project through appropriate information exchange across the three partners. 
About you
With experience in a relevant, equivalent role, you will have experience of collecting, manipulating and analysing data, particularly through excel. You will also be comfortable working qualitative and quantitative data and building/cleaning datasets.
 
Motivated by delivering great customer service, you will be comfortable with prioritising your own work, working to tight deadlines, using your own initiative to resolve issues as they occur. We are looking for a self-starter with a pro-active approach and a keen eye for detail.
