This includes developing highly effective methods which go beyond the boundaries of conventional wisdom and treating each patient as an individual.The Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH), part of the Division of Surgery and Interventional Sciences wishes to make 1 appointment for a Research Assistant for January – July 2024, with possibility to renew in August.About the roleThe purpose of this job is to deliver the UCL Active Minds project. The project will involve delivering a physical activity intervention across the University, aimed at supporting student mental and physical wellbeing. The project will include the use of wearable devices to track physical activity patterns and sleep quality in students, and short phone-based questionnaires and cognitive tests.Main duties of the post are setting up and organizing the project, delivering the project and liaising with participants, collecting data, analysing raw wearable data, writing up academic reports at publication standard. The post holder is expected to be able to commit be present on the Bloomsbury campus at the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health to facilitate the delivery of the programme. About youThe post holder must have educated to Masters degree level (or having equivalent experience), in an subject related field.
The successful candidate must be working towards a relevant postgraduate degree (PhD).
Excellent level of literacy and numeracy.
