About usThe Research Department of Primary Care and Population Health (PCPH) is part of the Institute of Epidemiology and Health Care and is headed by Professor Fiona Stevenson. The Department’s strategic aim is to deliver high-quality teaching in community-based primary care and public health and to undertake a programme of internationally competitive multi-disciplinary research addressing the management and prevention of disease in individuals and populations in areas that are of priority to the health of the public.About the roleThe post provides an exciting opportunity for a researcher who wants to apply and develop their analytic, interpretation and other research skills, while working on a topic of major relevance for health and social care policy.With the support of the Programme Manager, you will lead on the toolkit fidelity assessment i.e. the extent to which the toolkit was implemented as intended.You will also be involved in developing material suitable for dissemination to multiple stakeholders, including older people and policymakers.Application Process:

About youWe are looking for a candidate with a Master’s degree in a relevant subject such as health psychology, public health, neurology or applied health research and experience /interest in producing multimedia content for academic and non-academic audiences.Knowledge of some or all of the following would be advantageous: qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research methodology, primary care research, ageing/Parkinson’s research, behavioural science and developing videos or illustrations.The post is available until 28 Feb 2025.
