About usThe Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health (ISEH) is one of world’s leading institutes for sports and exercise medicine, and is one of three locations forming the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine (NCSEM), a major legacy project of the 2012 London Olympic Games. A £10 million investment by the Department of Health allowed The ISEH to build a dedicated state-of-the-art facility in the centre of London to deliver world-class research, teaching, training and clinical expertise in sport and exercise medicine. More Information on the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health can be found atAbout the roleWe are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to help lead a research project focused on the interactions between physical activity, sleep, stress, nutrition and brain health. This is a collaboration with a leading industry partner and their respective global clients, and will include collaborative work both within UCL and with external stakeholders. This post is for one year initially, with possibility of extension.
- Research Fellows – Appointment at Grade 7 is dependent upon having been awarded a PhD; if this is not the case, initial appointment will be at Grade 6B (salary £38,607- £41,255 per annum) with payment at Grade 7 being backdated to the date of final submission of the PhD Thesis.’ Other

to find out more.About youThe post holder must have a Higher academic degree e.g. PhD, or evidence of an equivalent level of attainment in research publications for grade 7 position Master’s degree or evidence of an equivalent level of attainment in research or training.The successful candidate must have a track record of scholarly publication and contribution to conferences in the field of cognitive neuroscience, physical activity, data science, engineering, brain imaging or related fields.Expertise in one or more of the following fields, including: Brain imaging, Physical activity measurement through wearable tracking, public health, data science.Customer advert reference: B02-08539
