A community pharmacy intervention development to improve patients’ adherence and quality of life. ENABLE’. The project is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) through its Research for Patient Benefit programme.The project aims to co-produce with breast cancer patients and pharmacists an intervention to improve medication brand change consultations for women with breast cancer in community pharmacy settings, and assess the acceptability of the intervention to patients and pharmacists.The Research Associate will play a vital role in this research project aimed at developing an evidence, theory, and person-based intervention and optimisation study. The post holder, with support from the Work Package leads, will conduct a scoping review of the literature and employ semi-structured interviews to gather insights into Community pharmacists and breast cancer patients’ perspectives, preferences and behaviours related to hormone therapy generic switching.You will join an enthusiastic interdisciplinary research team led by Professor Yolanda Eraso (Director of the Health and Behaviour Research Centre). This role presents a unique opportunity to work collaboratively in primary care with community pharmacists, patients, and breast cancer charity partners within an interdisciplinary research team.
