Research Associate (Asia Triennial Manchester 2025)

We are looking for a Research Associate (0.5 FTE, Fixed Term) to support the successful realisation of the multi-exhibition and public programming project Asia Triennial Manchester 2025.The Research Associate will be based in the Department of Art & Performance, a long-standing cornerstone of the creative offer at Manchester School of Art and is characterised by collaboration and contextual understanding. We offer a vibrant environment for interdisciplinary, research-informed teaching and learning. We recognise the importance of individual practice and collaborative work and seek to provide a supportive and collegiate research and studio culture for staff and students to develop their potential as academics, artists, designers, curators, performers and writers.About the roleAsia Triennial Manchester 2025 will take place in November 2025 as a multiple-venue exhibition. Utilising gallery and public venues within the University, it will showcase the work of around 30 international artists and will include an ambitious programme of performances, workshops and events. The Curatorial Research Fellow will lead the research and curatorial research-led practice underpinning Asia Triennial Manchester 2025, working with different stakeholders to ensure its successful realisation.You will:
