Research Associate in Combinatorics and Related Fields (Fixed Term)

Applications are welcomed for multiple positions a post-doctoral Research Associates in the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics to work on Julian Sahasrabudhe’s ERC grant “high dimensional probability and combinatorics”. The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance with the possibility of extension, subject to the availability of funds. These positions offer the added benefit of support for reasonable relocation expenses, as well as coverage for visa costs.Duties include working on research projects, presenting results and interacting with and mentoring PhD students. There is also an opportunity to supervise undergraduate students.Start date: October 2025Applications are due: March 2 2025The successful candidate will have (or be close to completing) a PhD in combinatorics, probability, analysis or a related area. They will have, most importantly, an outstanding track record in research and be keen to undertake an ambitious research project.
