Job description
We are recruiting an ambitious, self-motivated Research Associate to join Dr Pearmain’s research group focussing on understanding how the lung injury and fibrotic microenvironment drives abnormal gene expression and cellular function, with a particular focus on how extracellular matrix mediates cellular cross-talk within the lung injury and fibrotic niche.The successful candidate will work on an Asthma and Lung UK awarded research project to carry out, analyse and assess the immunological assays on fresh human tissue samples (blood) collected from human participants. This will include extensive phenotypic and functional characterisation.Candidates must have, or be about to obtain, a relevant PhD in immunology.Please refer to the particulars of appointment for further details.What you will get in return:
