Research Associate in Theoretical Many-Body Physics and Quantum Chaos

We are now looking for a Research Associate in Theoretical Many-Body Physics and Quantum Chaos.The aim of the role is to develop theoretical descriptions of quantum complexity in many-body systems with a particular focus on quantum chaos, decoherence and entanglement measures. Example physical platforms of interest include the central spin model, and you will closely interface with an existing theory effort on central spin models within the group as well as with experimentalists working on central spin systems such as quantum dots and colour centers in diamond.You will hold a PhD in Theoretical Physics with a proven track record in Many-Body Quantum Systems and Quantum Chaos. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Many-Body Quantum Theory and Complexity as demonstrated by publications in major journals. A proven ability to pursue scientific investigation from the conception stage through to publication is essential.
