Research Associate/Senior Research Associate in Supply Chain Management

Contract type: Open endedWork hours: 35.0 hours per weekThe roleWe are looking to appoint an outstanding Research Associate or Senior Research Associate within the University of Bristol Business School on a full time, Open Ended with fixed funding for 20 months.You will become a member of a focused on the manufacturing of cellular agriculture from the perspectives of engineering, life sciences, social science and management. As a team, we are building a world-leading cellular agriculture ecosystem, establishing a value chain that is environmentally, financially and socially sustainable.This role will focus on the design choices associated with scaling the supply chain of UK cellular agriculture manufacturing. You will be collecting, analysing and writing up primary and secondary data and have the opportunity to co-produce various outputs, including conference papers, journal publications, workshops and industry reports.Please note that we have 1 role available at the I or J grade. We ask that you indicate in your application whether you would like to be considered against both grades, or one of the grades, stating which grade if only one.What will you be doing?You will help lead the following two work packages:
You should apply ifThe ideal applicant will have a strong background in qualitative social science research methods and preferably a PhD in Management, Sociology, Geography, or other relevant discipline at the RA level. The candidate should be excited to become an expert in the cellular agriculture sector and have an ambition to publish in high quality management journals.You should be able to demonstrate your potential and passion for working within interdisciplinary teams, have an ability to work both collaboratively and independently, and be able to engage different audiences.
