Overview of the RoleAre you interested in the differences that arts, culture and heritage make to people’s lives? Do you want to work within a national research centre to understand more about how researchers can evidence cultural value? Would you like to work closely with the UK’s next City of Culture?Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to support an exciting new research project funded by the ESRC on behalf of the Centre for Cultural Value, a national research centre funded by the AHRC, Arts Council England and Paul Hamlyn Foundation. Under the supervision of the Director, Professor Ben Walmsley, the successful candidate will manage the logistics and communications between the research team and project/sector partners and coordinate a small number of webinars and publications.You will work with and at the University of Leeds and with (University of Sheffield) and , Policy Officer at the Centre for Cultural Value (University of Leeds).The successful candidate will possess a PhD in an area related to arts and cultural management and have solid experience of managing or supporting research projects. They will also have experience of collaborating with external partner organisations and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the arts and cultural industries. Excellent communication and written skills are essential, as is a willingness to work quickly, remotely and independently.What we offer in return
