We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral scholars with a passion for flexible bioelectronics to join our dynamic research team. This project focuses on developing advanced sensing systems to provide real-time feedback for medical applications. By merging bioinspired design, cutting-edge materials, and AI-driven technologies, the goal is to create innovative solutions that enhance precision, safety, and effectiveness in healthcare.As a member of the Multiscale Intelligent Biodevices Lab (MIB), led by Dr. Rujie Sun at the University of Southampton, you will play a key role in advancing bioelectronic systems with real-time monitoring capabilities. Your responsibilities will include designing and fabricating flexible bioelectronics that integrate seamlessly with medical tools, improving their precision, reliability, and usability through state-of-the-art microfabrication and AI techniques. - Education: PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in Biomedical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related disciplines with a strong academic record (Or working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD).
- Research Interests: Demonstrated enthusiasm for research in flexible bioelectronics, soft medical devices, or related fields.
- Skills: Extensive experience in microfabrication techniques for bioelectronics or medical devices, as well as expertise in biomaterials. Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, and excellent communication skills.
