Overview of the RoleResearch Fellow in Education and PoliticsSchool of Education and School of Politics and International Studies, Faculty of Social SciencesAre you an academic with interest in education and politics, and/or social science research on political engagement? Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research-intensive Universities?You will work with Dr Paula Clarke (School of Education) and Professor Cristina Leston-Bandeira (School of Politics and International Studies) in this inter-disciplinary project co-developed with the UK Parliament on enhancing evaluation of democratic engagement programmes. You will have (or be near completion) a relevant doctorate in a related topic. You will possess excellent research, analytical and writing skills and the ability to deal with a variety of tasks to set deadlines. The ability to work alone and as part of a team are essential, along with strong organisational skills.The University of Leeds is a diverse, multi-cultural environment.
