The Function The profitable candidate will work with Professor Toh Kim Chuan on analysis matters beneath a challenge on the event of principle and algorithms for big scale conic programming.
The principle tasks of the place embody:

To conduct unbiased analysis on the design, evaluation and implementation of environment friendly and strong algorithms for large-scale conic programming.  Superior information on nonsmooth evaluation, nonlinear optimization and algorithms; proficiency in Matlab and C programming languages at PhD degree are required.

Necessities

• Graduating PhD or current PhD holder specializing in optimization.

Abilities:

• Superior information on nonsmooth evaluation, nonconvex optimization principle and algorithms together with Matlab and C programming languages at PhD degree are required.

Expertise:

• Not less than 2 years of unbiased analysis expertise at PhD degree within the design, evaluation and implementation of environment friendly algorithms for large-scale conic programming.
