Are you an early career researcher looking for an opportunity to take a leading role in health services research to promote patient safety? Do you want to develop your career in one of the UK’s leading research-intensive Universities?We are looking for an enthusiastic Research Fellow/Officer to work on an NHS Blood and Transplant funded project for 12-months based at the University of Leeds starting in January 2025. The focus of the work is haemovigilance (safety of blood transfusion processes). Working closely with the Serious Hazards of Transfusion (SHOT) program and an international network of research collaborators, the researcher will play an integral role in developing guidance for future haemovigilance systems based on systematic review of research evidence, synthesis of expert subject-matter knowledge and collaborative work with existing systems.
