Research Financial Administrator – Pre Award (Hybrid)

The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences Office of the Dean is actively recruiting a research financial administrator. This position is primarily responsible for proposal development assistance and submission of research proposals to sponsoring agencies, processing just-in-time requests, reporting to sponsors for non-competing award continuations, and processing award activations. This position will work with faculty investigators across SHRS submitting to a plethora of external sponsors, including the National Institutes of Health, Administration for Community Living, National Science Foundation, and US Department of Defense. The position will also assist in submitting, reporting, and processing funding for internally funded Pitt proposals. The position will be cross trained in post-award administration and other general accounting functions and expected to work as a member of a collaborative team to address these functions as necessary.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the field of research administration, and three to five years of experience. Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification preferred. Combination of education and experience will be considered.
