Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Recruitment Specialist responsible for recruiting study participants for research studies. This role involves conducting phone screening interviews, maintaining recruitment data, and working closely with Coordinators to achieve recruitment goals. The ideal candidate will have a healthcare or scientific background , excellent telephonic communication skills, and experience in a metric-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit patients for study participation via inbound and outbound calls, texting platforms, and social media.

  • Conduct phone screens with potential participants according to study requirements while documenting eligibility or exclusion.

  • Work closely with Coordinators to execute recruitment goals and determine participant eligibility.

  • Schedule panelists’ screening visits and conduct reminder calls.

  • Maintain valid recruitment data through database updates and other necessary tools.

  • Maintain an active participant pipeline even when recruitment for a specific study is not underway.

  • Attend study meetings (pre and post) as required by the leadership team.

Essential Skills

  • Customer service experience.

  • Call center experience.

  • Data entry skills.

  • Telephonic communication skills.

  • Healthcare or scientific background .

  • Comfortable with high call volume and metric-driven environment.

  • Experience in a healthcare industry or clinical research setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Computer skills.

  • Ability to train and be supported by a primarily remote team.

Work Environment

You will work in an office environment, utilizing a computer. The site includes 12 other people, including one part-time local recruiter. The majority of onsite staff are doctors, clinical research coordinators (CRCs), and the site director. We aim to hire two recruiters to start together, allowing for mutual support locally. The team is growing in Phoenix and is part of a large national company with multiple divisions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00/hr.
