Description :The candidate will develop oral dosage forms and/or other specialized dosage forms. The Scientist will develop robust, scalable, and stable formulations.Responsibilities & duties

• Responsible for the development of oral solid dosage forms or other specialized dosage forms
• Understands and evaluates the innovator product, literature, IP landscape, formulation and process amongst other aspects to develop the product
• Authors/prepares all documents as per all effective procedures
• Manufactures development lots as per GLP (good lab practices) and sets up equipment as needed
• Interacts with all stakeholders as needed during development and execution of tasks
• Creates as needed, review and approve milestone batch records as per effective procedures
• Assists and monitors manufacturing of milestone batches
• Participate in regulatory, internal and client audits as an SME
• Follows all relevant safety and working procedures
• Tabulates and analyses data
• Contributes to process improvements initiatives
• Supports additional activities as needed.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• The Scientist should have in depth knowledge of development of solid oral dosage forms and be familiar with GLP and GMP principles.
• The Scientist should have knowledge of working principles of manufacturing equipment and techniques and understand best practices in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing.
• The Scientist will be considered for performance-based advancement assessed on criteria including leadership, PMS values and knowledge-based competency.

Education : PhD
BachelorExperience : 3 years: of relevant industrial experience in development of novel, patentable dosage forms.
