Research Software Engineer

Position:  Analysis Software program Engineer

Grade: Analysis Grade 7 (£38,273 – £40,543 each year)

(Mounted-Time period till thirty first March 2025 / Full-Time)

Job Goal:

The publish holder will work as a part of a workforce involving Ulster College and Queens College Belfast and be chargeable for partaking researchers from a number of disciplines with the Northern Eire Excessive Efficiency Computing (NI-HPC) facility https://www.ni-hpc.ac.uk/.  The NI-HPC Centre hosts the Kelvin-2 Tier-2 facility funded by the Engineering and Bodily Sciences Analysis Council (EPSRC).  

The publish holder will work with researchers to achieve a transparent understanding of their analysis challenges, assist them design HPC software program, and supply obligatory assist on deploying present code bases and simulations onto HPC.
