Fixed term until 31 July 2026, part-time 14.8 hours per week
An exciting opportunity exists for a Research Support Manager to join our small, friendly team at the University of Huddersfield.
We are world-leading in conducting research about intersex people’s health, wellbeing and rights and your role will be to support researchers in grant capture and project delivery, and in impact generation. You will be keen to work with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds, including those with lived experience of being intersex, academics, the public, and service providers and practitioners.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will demonstrate strong skills in the following areas:
- Excellent knowledge of research project management and funders, especially EU funders, and who will be able to support colleagues in developing compelling bids, working to strict deadlines. You will need experience of working with funder portals, data management, ethics and finances, and an ability to communicate well with diverse team members.
- Impact generation (including public engagement, education, and policy engagement). You will be able to gather information from a wide range of stakeholders regarding the impact that our existing research is creating, and to foster new impacts relating to future projects.
- Knowledge of the issues intersex people face, and a commitment to the equality, diversity and inclusion of intersex people.

If you are a current student at the University, you are welcome to apply for part-time roles of 15 hours or less per week, unless you are a part-time postgraduate student, in which case you can also apply for full time roles, subject to any visa requirements.
