This role involves delivering a research-based and evidence-informed curriculum that provides a comprehensive approach to postgraduate researcher (PGR) learning and development.As a Researcher Developer, you will join a small team dedicated to delivering a high-impact and well-respected program for PGRs across the University. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the program’s development and direction, take autonomy over their teaching and coaching, design termly programs, and manage daily operations.The role emphasizes the development of strategic learning interventions that provide an inclusive, well-rounded approach to PGR development. This equips researchers to work across various sectors, adapt to change, and manage contemporary challenges. Candidates should have in-depth knowledge and experience in doctoral research, strong pedagogical skills, and preferably coaching experience or a willingness to train.To excel in this role, strong communication, planning, and administrative skills are essential.About YouThe ideal candidate will have a PhD in any discipline or equivalent professional experience. You should be passionate about making a positive impact on our PGR community, fostering a culture where PGRs can achieve their full potential. A deep understanding of the research landscape, the role of researchers in contemporary settings, and the complex demands on researchers and their supporting institutions is crucial.
