Whilst it is primarily a pastoral role you will also be responsible for managing behavioral issues in halls, in line with university rules and regulations. During busy periods you will also be required to work in the accommodation office assisting with the allocation of students for the coming academic year.This post is subject to a background disclosure check by the Disclosure and Barring Service before any appointment can be confirmed.About youWith excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll have a good understanding of student accommodation issues and be able to effectively support students in this environment. You’ll need to provide a range of support services to students living in halls of residence whilst monitoring safety, security, and the behaviour of residents. Efficient and effective administrative support to the team is an integral part of the post and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office software is essential.QualificationsEssential;
