With a strong, active and familial culture, Pub United is the agency’s social club, hosting events as wide reaching as Curling, Trivia Nights and more.Job DescriptionThe Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the creative resources within an organization, ensuring that the creative team has the necessary skills, tools, and direction to produce high-quality work. This includes, allocating and managing resources, and working closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure that creative projects are completed on time and within budget. The Resource Manager is also responsible for fostering a collaborative and positive work environment where creativity can thrive.Key Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee the creative resources within the organization, including staff, freelancers, and third-party vendors.
- Develop and maintain processes and systems for resource allocation, ensuring that all projects are properly staffed and that resources are optimally utilized.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables and ensure that creative resources are aligned to meet project goals.
- Recruit, hire, and onboard new creative staff, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure a highly skilled and motivated team.
- Monitor project progress and adjust resource allocation as needed to ensure timely completion of projects and optimal use of resources.
- Maintain a positive and collaborative work environment, fostering open communication and teamwork among creative staff.
- Develop and manage budgets for creative resources, ensuring that expenditures align with project goals and financial constraints.
- Continuously evaluate and improve resource management processes and tools to increase efficiency and productivity within the creative team.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices and apply this knowledge to improve the organization’s creative resource management.
- Serve as a liaison between the creative team and other departments within the organization, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned on project requirements and objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Design, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- Proven experience in creative resource management, project management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the creative process and industry trends, with the ability to apply this knowledge to improve resource management.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in hiring, training, and managing creative staff.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Float, Smartsheet’s, Jira
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A passion for creativity and a desire to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
