Restricted Contract Risk Manager (2076)

The Role:

As Restricted Contract Risk Manager, you will be part of a team that provides contract management support and assurance on Oxfam GB’s high risk restricted contracts where we are Partner Affiliate (PA). You will work with staff at country, regional and global level to provide technical guidance on contract risk management. This will include direct accompaniment and support to, and working with others on, donor compliance, donor contract management systems, donor reporting, contract risk management, key contract performance indicator monitoring, convening of stakeholders and collaborative issue resolution. This can include short deployments to country teams. Candidates with country office / regional office experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

  • Proven track record in grant and contract management for a large international organisation or donor agency
  • Demonstrable experience of preparing complex and large project budgets, business analysis, and donor reports (including financial and narrative reports)
  • Demonstrable project management experience and/or a project management qualification
  • Ability to influence outcomes, facilitate processes, work proactively and work with others without direct line management authority
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Prior experience in building staff capacity and supporting colleagues to learn new skills
  • Experience of working in country offices and / or at regional level (strongly desired)
  • Arabic, French or any other Oxfam working language is desirable
