Job Title: Risk and Compliance Professional
Salary/Grade: £59,000 – £75,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Location : Peterborough
Benefits:
25 days annual leave
Up to 18% bonus
Car Allowance – £600pcm
Contributory pension scheme – Caterpillar will double the employee’s contribution up to 10%.
Contributory share scheme – Caterpillar will match 50% of the employee’s contribution.

The opportunity:
We have a new role open for a Risk & Compliance Professional supporting the E+ES division in our finance team. In this role you will use your import and export controls background and ensure compliance with the enterprise and division’s ethical standards and help the E+ES division continue to Win The Right Way.
What you will do:
Design and implement daily procedures and review/assess activities against internal control standards.
Direct and participate in the risk and compliance education of the organisation, ensuring ongoing and follow up education including regulations, policies, procedures, and trends.
Develop, initiate, and revise policies and procedures for the general operation of the E+ES compliance program and its related activities.
Identify potential risk and compliance vulnerabilities, develop corresponding corrective action plans for resolution of these issues and providing guidance for use in future situations.

Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques; ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
Level Extensive experience:
Risk Management: Knowledge of processes, tools, and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization’s exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
Level Extensive Experience:
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
Level Extensive Experience:
Plan, estimate, staff, organise and monitor significant projects.
Able to identify risks and vulnerabilities; create contingency plans.
Ability to conduct regular and ad-hoc project reviews with project team, sponsors, and clients.
Have strong open communication among project participants and interested parties.
Audit and Compliance Function: Knowledge of major responsibilities and tasks of Audit and Compliance (A&C) function; ability to manage the operation of A&C function in various business environment.
Level Extensive Experience:
Managed one or more A&C functions or units.
The ability to facilitate compliance-related business process implementation or improvement initiatives.
Implements specific organisational changes made in response to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
Level Extensive Experience:
Experience with analysing complex reports as revealed by the data.
Ability to teach others the calculations necessary to capture data and develop more complex reports.
Experience with overseeing multiple data-gathering and analysis initiatives.
Top candidates will have:
Bachelor’s degree in an Accounting or Finance related discipline
Progressive Risk and or Compliance related experience
