Responsibilities
$5000 Sign on Bonus offered for new hires with 6 months of relevant experience. Per policy current employee are not eligible.
Position Summary:
Assesses patient/family health problems and resources and takes a leadership role in the development implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for critical nursing care in the ED. Provides professional intensive nursing care and interventions to critically ill patient population(s). This position requires providing emergency nursing service to one or more age groups including ill children through geriatric patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organizations strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).

Qualifications
Minimum:
Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
Current California RN License
Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
6 months of acute care experience
Previous experience in an emergency department
Bachelor degree in health related field
Computer literacy

$59.60 – $77.30 /hour
