Responsibilities
Registered Nurse – Pre & Post Surgery Op
Registered Nurse works in conjunction with other staff members in the completion of the nursing process providing quality care for all patients (pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) in the Ambulatory Care Unit and Post Anesthesia Care Unit within the framework of the philosophy and policies established by Saint Bernardine Medical Center. Is able to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age specific need, and to provide appropriate care. Participates in patient and family teaching by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient care providers in maintaining standards for the Professional Nursing Practice in the clinical setting. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.
Qualifications
Experience :
- Prefer Two years Critical Care, Med/Surg or Operating Room.
Licensure:
-
Current California RN License
-
BLS (Basic Life Support)
-
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
-
PALS within 3 months of employment in the position

Basic Arrhythmia within 3 months of employment in the position or proven competency with the SBMC Education Department
Pay Range
$50.46 – $65.86 /hour
