The Role:

 

Oxfam {affiliate/} is looking for Safety and Security Officer to Provide support to ensure that safety/security management plan and Sops are developed, implemented, 
monitored, and reviewed so as to get robust staff security management in consistence with Oxfam policies, 
standards, and requirements

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

Minimum Bachelor’s degree 
• Practical experience (minimum three years) of security assessment, planning and implementation of 
procedures, ideally in the context of UN or NGO humanitarian operations
• 1 year of field experience 
• Experience in team management 
• Proven influencing and negotiating skills with internal and external audiences including in complex 
and stressful circumstances
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with the capacity to remain calm under 
pressure and not lose sight of strategic priorities
• Ability to advice and support field staff in a consultative manner
