In addition, there are sports facilities at Shenley (Hertfordshire).About the roleThe purpose of this Safety Training Manager role is to work as a key member of the Safety Services team designing and delivering effective training programmes to support the broad range of safety and compliance requirements. The role will drive the competency improvement programme and conduct regular UCL wide reviews and analysis of training needs and competency requirements. The role will lead on multi-platform training delivery.About youYou will have significant experience in the development and delivery of safety training programmes with a training ethos that seeks to engage, educate, and empower staff at all levels. Additionally, you will demonstrate an experience and understanding of health and safety legislation and risk management principles. You’ll be able to develop, review and implement a health and safety training matrix in line with current safety legislation and delivering training in a hybrid setting. You will have significant experience of working in Higher Education or similar complex organisation. Please refer to the job description for more details.
