They are seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Account Manager to support their after-sales business unit. A primary focus will be on slurry and non-slurry pumps in the mining sector in Saskatchewan and Manitoba.Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Oversee and manage the company’s extensive installed base of pumps across Man/Sask, ensuring the end-users are fully supported with our high-tech pump solutions.
  • Proactively build and nurture relationships with both existing and prospective customers. This includes effective communication, understanding their needs, providing valuable information, and addressing any concerns or challenges.
  • Actively support the company’s strategy by collaborating closely with the sales and engineering teams.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products and services, including their features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and demonstrations showcasing the unique value and benefits of the company’s products and services.
  • Skillfully negotiate to achieve win-win outcomes that benefit both the customer and the company, ensuring successful deal closures.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, preferences, and sales activities using a customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, certified Millwright, or equivalent technical certification.
  • Proven experience in Sales and Business Development.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities.
  • Expertise in relationship building.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
  • Regular travel to visit customers within the territory of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, with occasional travel to headquarters in Mississauga, ON for training and company events.
  • In-depth knowledge of pumps and their applications would be an asset.
