Now is the perfect time to join them as they continue to grow and invest in a bright future.About the team:You will be working closely with the sales director who leads a team of 13 representatives and 10 Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) and collaborates closely with the operations department to ensure seamless service and support for their clients.What you’ll be doing:As the right hand to the Sales Director, the Sales Assistant is essential in supporting sales activities and driving revenue growth.Your responsibilities will encompass:– Coordinating the sales director’s complex agenda, travel and meetings.
– Assisting with client meetings and visits, acting as a liaison between clients and the sales team.
– Managing and coordinating events, ensuring smooth logistics and successful execution.
– Tracking logistics and maintaining communication with customers regarding their orders.
– Reviewing inventory rotation reports and maintaining back orders.
– Interfacing with customers to provide exceptional service and resolve inquiries.
– Overseeing the CSRs to ensure order processing is efficient and accurate.
– Preparing price forecasts, quotes, and sales analysis reports.
– Coordinating and documenting meetings, ensuring follow-up and accountability.
– Keeping track of sales targets and performance metrics.
– Utilizing advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting, and using AS400 for forecasts.
– Ensuring confidentiality in handling sensitive information such as salaries and commissions.What we are looking for:We need a self-starter with excellent decision-making skills and the ability to handle high-paced, quickly changing environments.The ideal candidate will have:– Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
– Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables) and Outlook.
– Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
– Experience with AS400 or similar systems is a plus.
– An intuitive ability to analyze sales reports and data.
– High attention to detail and accuracy.
– Ability to coordinate logistics and events seamlessly.
