OverviewCompetitive Salary £35,000: plus, company bonus, hybrid and flexible working, enhanced benefits – including unlimited paid annual leave, private healthcare, pension, discounted gym membership and more)As a Sales Development Representative at Profusion, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts across both CRM & Data responsible for generating and qualifying leads and driving the early stages of our sales funnel.Your primary goal will be to identify potential clients, initiate conversations, and nurture relationships, ultimately setting up meetings and opportunities for our commercial team to continue the nurture to close.This role is ideal for a driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about CRM & Data strategic services. All of this while embarking on an exciting journey with a pioneering, fast-growing company situated at the heart of London’s Tech City.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Research and identify potential clients who could benefit from our CRM & data services.
  • Use a variety of tools and methods (e.g., LinkedIn, cold calling, email outreach) to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Conduct initial outreach to prospects through phone calls, emails, and social media to introduce our services and qualify their interest.

Qualification & Needs Assessment:

  • Engage with prospects to understand their CRM & data needs, challenges, and pain points.
  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria to ensure they align with our ideal customer profile.
  • Schedule meetings and product demos with our sales team for further engagement.

Relationship Building:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients through consistent follow-ups and personalised communication.
  • Provide prospects with relevant information about our CRM & data solutions and the value they can bring to their business.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the commercial teams to refine messaging, strategies, and targeting.
  • Provide feedback to the commercial teams on the quality of leads and the effectiveness of outreach strategies.

Tracking & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions and sales activities in our in-house CRM system.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics such as the number of qualified leads, conversion rates, and meeting set rates.

Government Bids

  • One of our strategic growth pillars includes pursuing new government contracts. As part of that, monitor government tender portals to identify relevant data & CRM contracts
  • Ensure our bid meets all outlined requirements and is submitted/monitored successfully.

Personal Specification: Knowledge, Experience and Skills
The role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with commercial teams to refine strategies and ensure effective lead generation and prospecting.Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous experience in a sales or lead generation role, preferably in the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Ability to demonstrate a successful sales outreach process
  • Familiarity with CRM, data, digital or email marketing services is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Motivation to succeed and grow your career within a sales/commercial role
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in using sales tools and CRM software is preferred.
