- Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and personalized service.
- Manage customer accounts by understanding their needs and delivering customized solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to meet sales objectives.
- Secure supply contracts with optimal pricing to ensure necessary transportation resources for customer service.
- Coordinate and procure freight services using third-party carriers and internal resources.
- Handle order entry for sales transactions and oversee carrier invoice review and processing.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
The successful candidate has:
- Proven experience in logistics sales with established customer relationships.
- Extensive experience in logistics coordination, including shipment management and third-party carrier oversight.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
