Brief Description:Our employer is a leader in the events and entertainment industry for over 25 years, providing one of Canada’s largest selections of amusement rentals. They specialize in corporate events, school fun fairs, university frosh events, fundraisers, brand activations, private parties, and more. Their offerings include arcade and sports equipment, AI photo booths, inflatables, casino tables, carnival games, food carts, and more. They are expanding their team and looking for a an individual who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our success.
Job Function:
- Executive Support – Work closely with the Director of Operations and President to provide administrative and strategic support as needed, assisting with various projects and company initiatives.
- Sales Support & Business Development – Identify new clients, generate leads via LinkedIn, social media, and other online resources, and support our sales team with quotes and contracts.
- Marketing & Social Media Management – Create and schedule content across all platforms, assist with newsletters, and develop seasonal marketing materials.
- Event Operations & Logistics – Occasionally attend events as an operator or brand ambassador and assist with event planning logistics.
- Client Communications & Admin – Support client inquiries, confirm event details, and coordinate performer bookings.
- Technology & Website Updates – Learn to update our website, manage event details, and create engaging blog content.
Job Requirement:
- Fluent English
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Outgoing & Motivated – You are passionate about growing your career and have a track record of excelling in professional, academic, and personal endeavors.
- Confident Communicator – Whether on the phone, via email, or in person, you can connect with clients, industry partners and co-workers with ease.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized – You can juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while keeping everything on track.
- Tech-Savvy & Social Media Pro – You’re comfortable with Microsoft Office/Google Suite, Canva, and social media management (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok). Experience with Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Photoshop, and WordPress is a plus.
- Passionate About Events – You love the energy of corporate and community events and are eager to learn the industry from A to Z.
- Resourceful & Creative – You have an eye for branding, marketing, and content creation to help us stand out.
