• Develop a sales and marketing strategy and reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
• Present and promote products to prospective and existing customers.
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs.
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and prepare status reports.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize client satisfaction.
• Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes.
• Conduct ongoing market and competitor research and report to management on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and the potential for new products.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education
• Minimum 5 years experience in B2B sales, preferably in a similar industry (sales related to the woodworking industry)
• Knowledge of the cabinet industry is highly desirable
• Proven track record of success
• Highly motivated and target-driven
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
• Highly organized with strong follow-up skills
• Able to create and deliver presentations tailored to the needs of the audience
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
