Job description

Our Montreal based client is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data & Reporting expert join their organization on a permanent full-time basis. This will be primarily a remote work setting, however, all candidates must be able to do occasional travel to some of the clients US locations when needed.

The Master Data and Reporting Expert would be working with the Business Process Owner and the Business Process Experts (EWM, PTP, OTC, FICO, etc) and will be responsible for S/4 HANA Data Architecting, Data Design, Integration and Data Governance implementation.
Prior experience in logistics OR aerospace / aviation / aircraft maintenance is an asset.
The S/4 HANA Master Data & Reporting Expert plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the data architecture for SAP S/4 HANA systems.
This position requires a deep understanding of SAP S/4 HANA data structures, integration points, and best practices. S/4 HANA Master Data & Reporting Expert will collaborate with cross-functional teams and Implementation Partner to ensure the optimal use of data for business processes, analytics, and reporting and will be responsible for the planning, controlling, monitoring, execution of Data related S/4 HANA program activities in alignment with overall program management.
Develop and maintain the data architecture for SAP S/4 HANA, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategies.
Design and implement data models, data dictionaries, and data flow diagrams to support the organization’s data needs.
Master Data architecture, tools and strategy.
Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to design and implement data integration solutions.
Ensure seamless data flow between SAP S/4 HANA and other systems, both internal and external.
Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Define and implement data quality and data management best practices to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data within SAP S/4 HANA including master data governance.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks related to data access, retrieval, and storage in SAP S/4 HANA.
Optimize data structures and configurations to enhance system performance.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with global onsite and offshore IT and Business teams to integrate SAP S/4 HANA data with various applications and systems.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, data models, and integration processes.
Cutover planning and execution of Master Data activities.
Train and support end-users on data-related best practices.
