EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

In your role as a North America Field Business Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the execution of the end-to-end deal operational process for specific deal motions. This is a regional team acting as a deal support center for SAPAccount Executives in the North America region. The Field Business Support Team assists and process deals within the SAP CRM/Harmony system. Supported by your team members, you will guide deals through the quote-to-booking process. The team is expected to contribute to revenue growth and profitability by processing sales opportunities for both existing and net new customers and achieving order targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for execution of the end-to-end deal operational process / quote-to-cash process for SAP select deal motions based on complexity and thresholds including RISE and Cloud LoB solutions

  • Process stakeholder requests for supporting deals and completing the required inputs (Harmony/CRM Opportunities, Quotations, Order Forms)

  • Partner with Industry AE’s, Commercial Finance, Legal/Contracting, Centralized Deal Support (CDS) & Order-to-Invoice (O2I) Teams to support the sales process to facilitate deal closure

  • Comply with operational procedures e.g., for sales, delivery, financial and legal requirements. Archiving and maintaining all files and records

  • Provide active quarter-end and year-end close deal support to the sales community to ensure timely and accurate completion of work deliverables in a dynamically driven environment

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree (preferred)

  • 2-5 years of experience working in a Sales Operations or Deal Support capacity

  • Experience with sales and deal processes involving Private and Public Cloud, and other complex Cloud deal motions (preferred)

  • Extremely detailed-oriented, organized, and effective communication skills (both oral and written)

  • Working experience within a shared service center environment (preferred)

  • Background in sales and quoting/deal processing

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment, ability to multitask, prioritize and problem solve

  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), as well as experience with DocuSign

  • CPQ/Callidus/CRM tool and experience with SAP systems is a plus

  • Flexibility to work in local office three days/week (according to North America Flex Work Policy); other days can be virtual

  • Flexibility to work varied business hours to support the North America Business (time zone and holidays), especially at quarter and year-end

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 76400 – 129900(CAD) CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
