***1:1 and small group interventions for under-achieving GCSE science students.
***’Outstanding’ secondary school.The Graduate:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in a science-related subject.
• A passion for the field of science, as well as strong knowledge of a range of scientific concepts.
• Dedication to the education and wellbeing of KS3 and KS4 students as they approach their GCSE science exams.
• Commitment to following safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Previous experience of supporting students, or working in a school setting is advantageous, but not mandatory.

The Role:

• Assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivery of GCSE science lessons.
• Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to students aged 11-16 to improve levels of progress and attainment.
• Supplying constructive and personalised feedback to students.
• Assessing classwork and monitoring progress to identify any additional learning needs.
• Partaking in staff meetings, as well as parents’ evenings.
