***Providing personalised and in-depth support to GCSE science students.

• At least a bachelor’s degree in a science related field.
• Passion for the education of KS3 and KS4 pupils
• Commitment to upholding safeguarding processes to protect the safety and security of young people.
• Comprehensive knowledge of scientific concepts.
• Clear, confident communication style.
• Drive to improve the progress levels of under-achieving GCSE students.

The Role

• Assisting teaching staff in the planning and delivery of GCSE science lessons.
• Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to students aged 11-16 to improve levels of progress and attainment.
• Supplying constructive and personalised feedback to students.
• Assessing classwork and monitoring progress to identify any additional learning needs.
• Participating in activities with the wider school community to build a positive, productive learning environment.
